SGA Insurance Chat

Insurance is Too Expensive, Or Is It?

Insurance is like paying your accounting bill - you know you need it but could think of other things you'd rather spend your money on.We can come up with a lot of reasons why we don't need it now, or we justify that we're fit and healthy and we really can wait until later to get insurance or increase our cover. But life has a way of not waiting, and things happen beyond our control.

How many of you know someone who's had an accident, has been affected by cancer or a serious illness, has had a motorbike or car incident, or been hurt playing sport - and was fit and healthy at the time.

We sometimes think we're bullet proof and are often busy getting on with our lives - until something unexpected happens! By then, it's too late.

When something serious happens – there's a lot of impact on you and your family. You would need medical care, you can't work so there's no income coming in, and your husband/wife or partner may need to take time off work to care for you, so this impacts on their job. The added financial stress could cause issues with paying the mortgage and living expenses. So how long could you survive without your salary? How many weeks could you carry on without your income? Because no one ever thinks it's going to happen to them - But It Does!

Making sure you and your family are protected means you can sleep at night. Having good health insurance gives you peace of mind that if your family need specialist medical care – they can access it straight away. Insuring your income means if you can't work - you can still provide for your family. We have seen too many families go through additional stress when things go wrong – and financial stress is the last thing they need to be experiencing.

That is why we are passionate about what we do. It's not just about getting the best policy and cover for our clients – but the difference it can make for their family. We have seen this many times, and that's when a good broker becomes your voice to make sure you're paid out when you need it most. Meaning you can focus on your treatment and recovery.

You don't want to pay for more insurance that you need to –and we routinely insure our house and car - but what about your health and income? Aren't they just as important? You might have heard this all before – but maybe it's time to have a chat about it, for you and your family.

Feel free to give us a call for a coffee and a chat – we're here to help and make it easier -
